 Our mission

That Day In August will expand creative arts instruction in inner cities by exposing students to creative careers and connecting them with creative professionals who are at the center of popular culture.

Words from our Founder...

"

To enhance arts instruction for students everywhere, it is crucial for arts programs to collaborate with other organizations, both local and national. This collaboration will result in dynamic and comprehensive arts education experiences.

Inequality in Education:

Socioeconomic disparities create unequal educational opportunities. Affluent schools have better arts education with specialized programs, facilities, and artist collaborations. Underprivileged schools prioritize core academic subjects due to budget constraints, marginalizing arts education.
